The New York Fashion Week is scheduled from Wednesday, September 8th to Sunday, September 12th 2021. With social life going back to normal, the Fashion Week should feature digital & in-person shows.
The NY Fashion Week is not held in a specific location. After leaving the Lincoln Center in 2015 and the Skylight Clarkson Square in 2017, the Fashion Week was hosted in very diverse locations such as a waterfront carnival or a former post office. The shows are usually held in downtown Manhattan with Chelsea Piers and Park Avenue Armory as popular locations. This 2021 New York Fashion Week will climax with the Met Gala for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibition “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”.
