Travel to Cannes by Train

The easiest way to arrive in Cannes from all over France and Europe is to simply travel by train. Due to the pandemic, some restrictions are in place to enter France. You can enter France from the European Area, and from Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Singapore with a negative PCR test result of less than 72 hours. For travelers in the provenance of other countries, you will need a compelling reason to enter Metropolitan France, a negative PCR test result of less than 72 hours and to isolate for 7 to 10 days depending on the situation of your origin country. 

A sanitary pass is studied to allow fully vaccinated travelers to enter France more easily.

The 74th Festival will take 12 significant measures to reduce waste and carbon emissions, recover residual materials and offset the carbon footprint. Among them, a fleet of official cars composed of 60% electric and hybrid vehicles, a soft mobility incentive, an environmental contribution from the Festival to compensate for the footprint of the event’s production, and an environmental contribution of €20 from festival-goers to compensate for the footprint of their travel and accommodation.
